At USC, he was a member of the professional architecture and allied arts fraternity Alpha Rho Chi, where he is now on the E-board of the Alumni Association. Throughout his education, Marshall worked the Center for Black Cultural and Student Affairs to help promote and provide spaces for Black students.
As a Los Angeles native, Marshall is particularly inspired by the local Spanish Colonial Revival and mid-century modern styles of architecture that are found throughout the city.
Marshall’s professional goal is to become an architect that works in his hometown and he is excited to help provide affordable housing in impacted communities around Los Angeles, specifically South LA.
Outside of JKA, Marshall enjoys listening to music on long car rides by himself or in his room on his record player.
