Sara joined JKA in 2022 as a Designer. Prior to her involvement at JKA she received her Bachelor of Architecture from Cal Poly Pomona before working as a designer for three years. In her previous work she designed primarily residential projects of various scales including ADU’s, single-family residences and mixed-use buildings. Sara’s work style is very detail oriented and organized. At JKA, she works on multi-family housing projects in South Los Angeles, and has seen several projects from schematic design through plan check. Sara helps compile information and ensure that project information is consistent when submitting to plan check and revises plans per comments from the city or client.

In her free time, Sara enjoys any creative, hands-on activity such as drawing, sketching or painting. Through her work, Sara hopes to design great spaces for underprivileged communities.
