25 Years of JKA: 2000

Kicked off in 2000, the UCSB East Side Area Plan was the first project completed by JKA. The Plan establishes an organizing design vision and guidelines for the evolution of the central area of UCSB. Over a nine month planning process, JKA identified goals to integrate views of the natural scenery into the heart of campus, realize a more pedestrian and bike friendly setting, and establish an intensified central campus.
