Palm Desert Community Open House

On Monday, JKA facilitated a Community Open House hosted by the City of Palm Desert to gain community feedback on what types of built-form patterns and best-practice multifamily typologies residents would like to see in their community. Our Urban Design Project Manager, Amee Bhatt, created a series of boards to display images of multifamily and mixed-use housing. Participants were encouraged to indicate which buildings and styles they thought were most suitable for Palm Desert. This community feedback will help JKA create measurable and quantifiable objective design standards that build upon the unique desert character of Palm Desert.
